Fire-technical minimum

The fire technical minimum is mandatory training which provides necessary measures for ensuring fire safety at production facilities, offices etc.

According to the Order of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 9, 2014 No. 276, fire-technical minimum training could be conducted as at work plase by responsible persons of company or through training center.

Fire  technical minimum training for managers and employees of organizations mentioned in paragraph 28 of  rules is conducted within a month after hiring and with periodicity at least once every three years from the date of the previous training. Training is conducted in training center.

On-the-job (within organization) fire technical minimum training is conducted at least once a year.

Fire-technical minimum training in training centers should be pass:

1) heads of organizations;
1-1) responsible for fire safety;
2) employees of facilities with premises, buildings, structures and installations with categories of production for explosion and fire hazards A, B, with the exception of auxiliary personnel engaged in activities unrelated to the functional purpose of the facility;
3) workers performing electric and gas welding work, work using a gasoline cutter, glue, mastic, polymer materials, blowtorches, torches, burners, bitumen, as well as work accompanied by the release of heat and sparks;
4) employees responsible for the operation of fire automation systems and installations;
5) employees of facilities with a large number of people responsible for ensuring fire safety, including at certain work sites, with the exception of specialists from non-governmental fire services.

Fire-technical minimum training is conducted within organization:

1) employees of agricultural organizations;
2) teaching staff;
3) electricians;
4) employees who protect organizations, with the exception of security guards of private security organizations;
5) employees of facilities with a mass presence of people, with the exception of the employees specified in subparagraph 5) of paragraph 28 of these Rules.

Training in fire-technical minimum programs, directly in the organization, is conducted by the head of the organization or the person responsible for ensuring fire safety, who has been trained in training centers.

At the end of the course in case of saccessful check knowledge, employees obtain:

• Protocol;
• Certificate;
• Handout.
