Safety and labor protection is complex of activities implementing at enterprises for avoiding accidents, injuries, nearmiss events etc.

In accordance with the Order of the Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 25, 2015 No. 1019, training and knowledge testing of workers on  Safety and labor protection is carried out at least once a year.

Managers and persons responsible for ensuring  Safety and labor (hereinafter referred to as responsible employees) are should be trained according to approved courses:

– first one for improving general professional competencies (mainly for office positions, accountant, lawyer, HR, etc.);

– second one for improving special professional competencies in a particular industry (oil industry, chemical industry, oil operations at sea etc.)

Training and check  knowledge  for responsible persons on  safety and labor protection  is carried out at the training center for:

1) the development of general professional competencies,  once and does not require repeated training;

2) the development of special professional competencies, taking into account the type of economic activity, once every three years.

The duration of training on the development of general professional competencies in  safety and labor protection  for responsible employees is:

• for large business entities — at least 72 academic hours;
• for medium—sized businesses – at least 40 academic hours;
• For small businesses, including microenterprises, at least 24 academic hours are required.

The duration of training for the development of special professional competencies in  Safety and labor protection  for responsible employees is:

• for large business entities — at least 40 academic hours;
• for medium—sized businesses – at least 24 academic hours;
• For small businesses, including microenterprises, at least 16 academic hours are required.

At the end of the course in case of successful passing checking of knowledge, participants obtane:

• Protocol with results of knowledge checking;
• Certificate (blue book) validity 1 year for working professions;
• Certificate on development of general professional competencies, termless;
• Certificate on development special professional competencies, term of duration 3 eyars;
